This is a type of Buddha painting depicting Amida Raigo*, but instead of the usual Kannon and Seishi Bodhisattva on its both sides, it features two monks. The monks are sometimes interpreted taht left as Zendo Daishi, a Chinese monk from the Tang dynasty who is the founder of the Pure Land sect and is also considered an incarnation of Amida Buddha and the monk on the right is Honen Shonin.
