Although this bottle has the same shape as those with dragon-head handles, the bottle with tongue-thrusting beast head and curving handles is distinctively different from those with dragon-handles. The appearance of bottles with dragon-heads handles signals a latter pahse development in Early White Porcelain, while this beast-head handles appearts to be earlier.
