Excavated materials from datable tombs suggests that lead glazed ware in this shape were made in Northern Qi dynasty imitating the metal ware which had existed since the Northern Dynasty, then celadon came to appear in Sui dynasty. This Tokiwayama collection may be the work developed from celadon to white porcelain. Although the exact same shape as this work has not been excavated so far, this can be attributed to late Sui to early Tang, the end of 6th century to early 7th century.
