White porcelain jar without lugs on its shoulder unlike the jar with four lugs that have been existed. It is glazed inside and out, and white clay can be seen on the unglazed bottom. This type of jar was excavated from the late 7th century tomb in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. Jar with four lugs remained even after the appearance of jar without lugs. They may have each different roles.
